Ingredients
- Rajma / kidney beans
- salt
- water
- lemon juice / lime juice whatever is available.
- extra-virgin olive oil
- cloves of garlic

Instructions
- Soak kidney beans overnight or for 3-4 hours in water in a large mixing bowl.
- Boil 1 cup of rajma with salt until it is soft in a presure cooker or instant pot. Discard water.
Now, add 1 cup water, salt, lemon juice along with 1 tbsp. oil to cooked kidney beans in a high-speed blender.
- Make your homemade hummus by blending until you get a desired consistency.
- Serve with carrot sticks ,red bell pepper strips and celery sticks, nacho chips or pita bread.
Storage
Store it in an airtight container in refrigerator for 3-4 days.
